I think if the goal is very late we may be able to get out before hand by greening up the bets 2a and 2b at, say, the 85 minute mark. We obviously need some data on a 0-0.

Yes, if the basic template is sound, and I have made a mistake before , then we can “fiddle” the figures to produce a more even result.
